American Eskimo Dog

To each, his or her, own dog. That might not necessarily make sense to many people who live dog-less, but it is nevertheless true that every dog owner believes his, or her, own dog or puppy to be the best, the cutest, the most intelligent, the friendliest dog etc. The list goes on and on, so let me make it short by saying that I believe my very own 10 month old American Eskimo puppy to be the cutest, the most intelligent, and the most stand-up comedic dog!

I may have come up with something that might be a new quote in the world of dog dome; however I don’t expect it to become popular. It has just been a series of laughs since the very first day that I brought her home. I am saying the very first day because the very first day I got her home she fell into her own pint sized milk vessel. It may be impossible to believe that the event took place looking at how much she has grown, but I have photographs that suggest the otherwise.

There are certain facts that you need to know if you want to become an owner of an American Eskimo dog. First of all it is important that you find out beforehand whether you really want to own an American Eskimo puppy. If that is not the case you may be better off with a Boxer or an Afghan hound.

Being a proud owner of an American Eskimo puppy is not an easy task, and also knowing that an American Eskimo dog is an average shedder is very much necessary for people with allergies to dog hair. You should also understand that you American Eskimo puppy requires a lot of grooming. It needs to be groomed at least twice a week normally and generally once a day during shedding.

It is important to realize that in case there is some kind of grooming lapse, then this breed will shed its un-brushed hair without any sort of compunction. So it is necessary to groom them well.

You will soon realise that the cute and adorable American Eskimo puppy you own is also quite intelligent and is one of those dogs that can be trained very easily. One thing that needs to be kept in mind is that they are a playful breed and need a regular exercise regime.

As long as you remember to exercise it properly, your American Eskimo puppy will happily live and accustom itself to your apartment.
